Academician Jiang Yi investigated and gave guidance to the first deep utilization project of pollution reduced surplus heat from coal burning boiler

On November 27th,Jiang Yi,an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a professor of Tsinghua University, went to the northern heat and power plant of Jinan Heat and Power Co. Ltd and investigated the deep recovery project of pollution- reduced surplus heat from 3×130t/h+220t/h coal burning boiler.Guo Sen, the inspector from Jinan Municipal Bureau of Public Utilities, and Ji Tao, the vice-director of Heating Office and Yang Weiguo, the vice-manager of Jinan Heat and Power Co. Ltd joined the investigation. The vice chief engineer of HYTM, Xiao Changlei accompanied academician Jiang Yi and explained the project systematically.

With the accompany of those people who are in charge of the municipal office, leaders of HYTM and Jinan Heat and Power Co. Ltd, academician Jiang Yi visited the deep utilization project of pollution reduced surplus heat from coal burning boiler 
. After the introduction, academician Jiang gave some instructions as well assome affirmation and recognition to the project. Academician Jiang pointed out that: The direct heating system of northern cities won’t change the status that cities use coal as heat reservoirs in short order. So that governments, enterprises and many other groups should regard the question how to use coal efficiently as the most important issue. The deep utilization project of pollution reduced surplus heat from coal burning boiler of HYTM would be a good example about saving energy and reducing pollution as well as anti-air pollution. It can be spread widely.

As the production, learning and investigation base of Tsinghua University, HYTM energy-saving equipment Co. Ltd in Beijing, cooperating with thescientific research team of professor Fu Lin, made an important breakthrough in the deep utilization technologyof surplus heat from flue gas. We invented the deep utilization equipment of pollution reduced surplus heat from coal burning boiler and it was put in use in heat and power plants. This method has solved several problems such as the low temperature of the smoke from coal-burning boiler, the difficulty of heat recovery and utilization and the difficulty of the resolution on smoke pollution. And it was the first successful practice that applied the deep utilization technology of surplus heat from flue gas to heat and power plants.

In the future, new technology will make contributions to the development of heat and power cogeneration and our goal of saving energy and reducing emission.
